When a blank journal page is information

Traders apologise for blank pages as if they forgot a chore. In review, a blank after a loss is often the most informative artefact in the book. It usually means the emotional cost of writing was higher than the cost of opening the next chart.

We do not punish blanks. We count them. If four of your last ten losers have no close review, the mentoring work is not “write more.” It is “write three factual lines before you are allowed another entry in that setup family.” The rule is mechanical on purpose. Motivation is unreliable after a red day; a short required format is not.
