Session
Chart Foundations Workshop
A half-day workshop on reading structure, support and resistance, and writing what you see before you size a position.
The workshop
This half-day is for traders who can recognise a few candlestick shapes but still freeze when asked to write a clean observation before entry. We work on structure first: swing highs and lows, obvious levels, and the difference between a narrative on the chart and a story you invent after the move.
What you bring
A laptop or printed charts of instruments you actually watch, plus any journal you already keep. Blank notebooks are available on the table; bring a pen you like writing with.
What we cover
- Marking structure without crowding the chart
- Writing a pre-trade observation in three sentences or fewer
- Separating “level held” from “I hoped it would hold”
- A short group review of anonymised journal excerpts
Limits
We do not cover options strategies, automated systems, or broker comparisons. Capacity is capped so every participant can put a chart on the shared screen once.
