Trade Journal Review
A one-to-one session that walks through your recent trades, journal language, and entry criteria before the next open.
Who this is for
Active traders who already place trades and keep some form of notes — a spreadsheet, a paper book, or screenshots with scribbles — but still struggle to see patterns in their own behaviour. You do not need a polished journal; you need recent, honest records.
What you leave with
By the end of the session you have a clearer picture of where your written plan and your actual fills diverge. Typical outcomes include a rewritten entry checklist, a short list of phrases to ban from your journal (vague words like “felt right”), and two or three review questions you will answer after every closed trade for the next fortnight.
Scope
Included
- Pre-session brief: you send up to eight recent trades with charts and whatever notes you already have
- Live walkthrough of those trades with focus on timing, stop placement, and how you described the setup
- A written session summary emailed within one business day
- One short follow-up email within seven days if you hit a snag applying the checklist
Not included
- Trade signals or “what to buy tomorrow”
- Broker account setup or software installation
- Multi-week mentoring (see the Private Mentoring Block)
How the session runs
- Preparation — At least 48 hours before, send your trade list and journal extracts. Incomplete records are fine; silence about losers is not.
- Opening pass — We sort trades into planned, impulsive, and unclear. No grading of profit — only of process.
- Deep review — Two or three trades get a full chart and journal debrief: what the candles showed, what you wrote, and what you omitted.
- Rewrite — You leave with revised criteria for one setup family you already trade.
Duration and place
Ninety minutes. Sessions run at our Orrvale address or by live video for traders elsewhere in Australia. Video sessions use the same structure; you still send charts ahead of time.
Fee and next step
